A little about Royal Palm Restaurant Supply...
The Royal Palm Event Suppy family has been
in the catering, special events, and restaurant
business for over half a century, beginning
with our grandparents: Elbert and Maurine Startup,
who began ˇ°Startup's Cateringˇ± in southern California
back in 1954. At last count there were over
twenty descendants following in the footsteps
of Elbert and Maurine in a dozen different catering
businesses. But our family's experience in the
food service industry goes back even further
than that: our great, great, great, great grandfather
¨C William Startup was one of King George III's
ˇ°official confectioner to the kingˇ±, back in
England in the 1830's.
With so many family members in the food service
business constantly buying new and replacement
tablecloths, glassware, china, linens, etc.,
it was easy to see an opportunity to provide
them all with high quality, low cost equipment.
And so Royal Palm was born.
Royal Palm has developed our product line by
scouring the globe to find the highest quality
manufacturers. Being in the food service industry
ourselves; we know how important it is to find
the right glass or china plate at the best possible
price. Since we deal directly with our manufacturers,
there are no middlemen to add cost to our products.
